Traditional Irish sweaters last a lifetime. They have kept us cozy and warm on rainy damp days and frigid cold nights. We bring you a variety in our selection of sweaters. Please keep in mind there are two basic types of Irish or Aran sweaters. The loomed sweaters are beautiful. They are mass produced in Ireland all made with 100% pure wool. Due to this mass production loomed sweaters are less expensive than Handknits. Our Wool Handknits are gorgeous. They are all made in the traditional way from Athena of Cork, and Magee's of Donegal. Handknit sweaters are all individually crocheted. We suggest you order a size larger than you would normally take when ordering a Handknit as they are woven tight with loving care.
